Home Battery Storage for Your Solar Energy System

The Fench 33kWh home battery is designed for households looking to store energy for use beyond solar generation hours. Its 51.2V 660Ah LiFePO4 configuration provides a substantial storage option for a residential energy system.

When connected to a compatible inverter and correctly configured, the battery can store surplus solar electricity for later use. Actual usable energy and operating time depend on the system settings, conversion losses and the appliances being powered.

For homes requiring power during an outage, backup operation must be supported by the inverter and the complete electrical installation. The battery alone does not provide automatic whole-home backup.

Integrated JK Battery Management System

The battery incorporates a JK V19 PB2A16S20P battery management system, helping manage and monitor the battery during operation.

A 4.3-inch touchscreen provides access to battery information directly at the unit, making it easier to check its status without relying solely on the inverter interface.

The cabinet also includes a 250A DC circuit breaker. This is a component rating, not a statement of the battery’s continuous charge or discharge capability. System current limits must follow the confirmed battery specifications and installation requirements.

Communication for Compatible Inverter Systems

The battery provides CAN, RS232 and RS485 communication interfaces for integration with compatible equipment.

A matching communication port does not, by itself, confirm compatibility. The inverter model, firmware, communication protocol and battery settings must also match.

Before ordering, send us your inverter’s brand and exact model number. This allows the intended combination to be checked before the battery arrives.

Floor-Standing Cabinet with Lockable Wheels

The floor-standing cabinet measures 850 × 520 × 785 mm and has a listed weight of 285 kg.

Lockable swivel wheels assist with positioning on an appropriate level surface. Because of the battery’s weight, delivery access, unloading arrangements and floor suitability should be assessed in advance. The wheels do not make it suitable for manual lifting or movement over stairs.

Se IP21 enclosure should be installed in a suitable indoor location following the installation instructions. It is not intended for unprotected outdoor placement.

• Whether backup power is required and supported by the complete system.
• Available installation space, delivery access and handling arrangements.

The product listing states 33kWh. The calculation based on 51.2V and 660Ah is 33.792kWh; the final rated energy should be confirmed against the model datasheet. Usable energy is not necessarily the same as nominal energy.
