Build your home storage battery with a 16S DIY kit — battery cells not included

This 48V DIY battery box kit gives you the enclosure, the BMS, the display and the wiring hardware in one package. Battery cells are not included; this is a kit, not a complete battery. Assembly requires suitable cells, correct wiring, BMS configuration and safety checks before use. Follow the product instructions and use a qualified installer if you are not experienced with battery systems.

The 16S1P configuration runs at 51.2V nominal with up to 10kW output, which is the standard voltage and power level for home solar storage, off-grid systems and server-rack cabinets. The steel enclosure is stackable, so capacity grows by stacking another module on top rather than rebuilding the installation.

The BMS is already installed — that is the difference

This kit ships with the JK V19 (PB2A16S20P) BMS built in: 200A continuous current, 2A active balancing and a 4.3″ LCD display, plus Bluetooth for the JIKONG Android / iOS app. You get live cell voltages, pack current, SOC and temperature on the display and on your phone, with no extra protection board to buy or wire.

Communication features include: CAN, RS485 and RS232 ports, compatible with the mainstream inverter protocols used in Europe — Pylontech CAN, Deye / Sunsynk, Growatt, Voltronic / Axpert, Luxpower, SRNE, MUST, Goodwe and Sofar, plus Victron through a Cerbo GX.

Which cells fit

The enclosure accepts 16 prismatic cells up to 208 × 174 × 72 mm — the footprint shared by the common 230Ah, 280Ah, 302Ah and 314Ah cells. That works out to roughly:

• 16 × 230Ah ≈ 11.8kWh
• 16 × 280Ah ≈ 14.3kWh
• 16 × 314Ah ≈ 16.1kWh

Built for the places batteries actually live

Steel construction, 30kg net weight and a stackable form factor suit garages, containers and equipment rooms. Typical installations: home solar energy storage, off-grid cabins, UPS and backup power, and server-rack battery cabinets.
