När en batterilåda är byggd — celler, BMS, kablage och kapsling på plats — flyttar du den inte längre för hand. De flesta DIY-paket hamnar långt över 100kg, och det är inget du lyfter eller drar över garagegolvet.
Detta set med batterilådshjul är fyra universella hjul med låsbara bromsar, klassade för 500kg totalt — around 125kg per caster. Whatever you build, the casters carry it with a wide margin to spare.

What they fit
Made for DIY battery boxes — the steel enclosures people build home storage packs into. The mounting plate is universal, so the casters fit most boxes with a flat underside and a standard bolt pattern. Not sure about yours? Send us the underside dimensions and we will confirm before you order.
Locking brakes
Every caster has a brake lever. Lock all four and the box stays exactly where you put it while you torque terminals, swap cells or work inside the enclosure — then release and roll.
How Much Load Can These Battery Box Wheels Take
500kg across the set, about 125kg per caster. A typical finished DIY battery box sits well under that, so the casters run at a fraction of their rated load. Even stacking two enclosures on the same footprint keeps you inside the limit.
Fitting the casters: 4 steps
- Empty the enclosure if you can — a bare box is far easier to turn over.
- Line up the caster plates with the mounting holes on the underside and hand-tighten the bolts.
- Tighten in a cross pattern so the plates seat evenly.
- Lock the brakes before you install the cells, then re-check every bolt after the first move.
