A vertical DIY battery box that stands on its own
The Vertical DIY battery box kit V3 is a floor-standing 16S tower: 16 prismatic LiFePO₄ cells stand in two columns, the JK V19 BMS is already mounted, and the finished pack rolls into place on its castors. At 51.2V it delivers roughly 14.3kWh with 280Ah cells and 15.4kWh with 300Ah cells — the capacity most European homes actually use.
Vertical matters when floor space is the constraint. The tower footprint is a fraction of a horizontal box, the top handles make it easy to lift into position, and the terminals sit on top where cables stay short and tidy.
Safety hardware is already installed
This is not an empty shell. Every V3 ships with the JK V19 BMS (PB series, CAN + RS485) with 2A active balancing, mounted and wired to the busbars; an air switch on the front panel for isolating the pack without tools; a fire protection device inside the enclosure; the new LCD display showing cell voltages, SOC, current and temperature; and Bluetooth for the same data on the JIKONG app.
Inverter compatibility, tested
Deye (LV hybrid CAN V1.0), Growatt (BMS CAN-Bus LV V1.08 and xxSxxP ESS V2.01), Victron (CAN-BUS BMS 201707 via Cerbo GX), GoodWe (LV BMS CAN V1.7), SRNE (PACE Modbus RS485 V1.3), MUST (PV1800F CAN 1.04.04), Luxpowertek, MEGAREVO and Pylontech (CAN V1.2 / RS485 V3.5) are all supported, with Sofar, Solis, Easun, Anenji and Voltronic available on request with the protocol confirmed before you order.
